Each section of Unistrut channel has four dimension attributes: length, width, height, and wall thickness. Out of these variables, length is probably the easiest place to start. The vast majority of Unistrut channel sections come in 10’ and 20’ lengths. There's no need for additional fasteners with these nuts— they combine a strut channel nut with a spring and a threaded stud. Twist-In Strut Channel Nuts When there's no access to the open side of a strut channel, slip one of these nuts through a slotted hole and turn it 90° to secure it in the channel.
